BIOGRAPHY

Renée Naccari, a versatile musician hailing from Melbourne, is a singer, songwriter, and producer known for her innovative approach to Pop music. Seamlessly blending elements of R&B, Lo-fi, Jazz, Indie, and a touch of Rock, Naccari crafts a unique sonic experience that defies genre conventions. With each new release, she offers audiences an unexpected journey filled with lush harmonies alongside deep metaphorical storytelling through lyrics.

Rooted in a rich musical heritage, Naccari's journey began at a young age, honing her skills on the piano before teaching herself guitar at 15 on her mother's cherished Takamine. Supported fervently by her father, Adrian, a singer, and her mother, Fiona, a music teacher, music has been an integral part of Renée's upbringing and continues to shape her artistic vision today.

Her musical abilities became evident early on when, at the age of 12, she released her debut track, "How I Felt About You," under the moniker 'Renée.' Since then, Naccari has garnered recognition, co-writing and featuring on tracks such as "Over Again," which amassed over 65K streams on SoundCloud. Notably, she was selected as one of three singers from Victoria to perform at Top Class, a prestigious showcase for VCE music students in Australia.

In 2019, Naccari made a pivotal decision, prioritizing her passion for music over a previous aspiration to pursue law, enrolling in a Bachelor of Music Performance program at the esteemed College of the Arts, COLLARTS. This transition marked a turning point, igniting her creative flame and setting the stage for her developing career.

Subsequent releases, including singles like "Burning Up," "Moment," and "Someone Hear Me," underscore Naccari's evolution as an artist, culminating in the 2021 releases of "My Only" and "You Left The Door Open," which earned her a coveted slot at the Keep It Together Festival alongside The Veronicas in 2021.

Continuing to captivate audiences, Naccari has been performing on stages across Melbourne, hosted two of her own headline shows and has been hinting at a few forthcoming projects for 2024. With a vision to offer listeners a deeper narrative experience, she aspires to share the raw emotions and intimate moments behind her lyrics, fostering a profound connection between artist and audience.

“I’m hoping that in [next project] I will be able to give my audience a deeper insight into the story behind my lyrics, I want them to hear the voice memo’s, the crying, the laughter and experience the journey with me, both in person and in their headphones, bringing us all closer together.” - Renee Naccari
